Capitol Improvements was absolutely great. They provided top quality service when remodeling the siding in my home. The contractors were extremely friendly. They worked before sunrise and stopped after sunset. Pat and Ron made sure that the job was done right. Capitol Improvements get a 10 out of 10 from me. Great Job👍

I've lived in my home for more than 15 yrs and I decided to get a new roof because the shingles on my town home looked worn. I did some research on roofing contractors in the DMV area and ran across this company. After taking estimates from another contractor as well, I decided to go with this company after meeting Pat, the owner. On April18th, Pat came out to my home and explained the roofing process to me, helped me determine what color shingles I could choose from that were HOA compliant and what I would be getting in my warranty with their company. The visit was very informative. After accepting his initial cost proposal (which was not too far off from what other contractors were charging), the next day, I paid the down payment in order for the work to begin. I was told by Pat that the work would start 8 days after the contract was signed and the initial payment was received. (April 20th). After a few delays and communications with Pat, my roof project was completed almost a month later. Pat apologized for the delays (to no fault of his own) and as a result he discounted the final price of my roof install (which took a day to do...even after needing 24 sheets of additional plywood). Despite the delays, I would recommend this contractor again. They proved to be fair, knowledgeable, honest and left no mess after the job was done. Thx Pat.

I know not all contractors are a monolith, but I recently had a terrible experience with a contractor remodeling my bathroom and was feeling nervous about hiring another to replace my roof. Capitol Improvements was a breath of fresh air. I met with Pat to discuss the roofing project and it felt like talking to my uncle. It was a casual conversation where he detailed the roofing process and made sure I knew what I was buying. He never tried to sell me anything I didn't need. The roofing project was done in a day and they worked from sun up to sun down. The crew was polite and professional, and they took extra care to ensure that everything was cleaned up. Roof looks great, the price was very reasonable, and it comes with a 50 year warranty. I've already sent a neighbor their way; thanks, Capitol Improvements!

We needed new windows in our 1948 home we purchased back in July. We received several quotes from different window companies but ultimately went with Pat and his crew at Capitol Improvements - Pat came out himself to take a look and quote us for 10 windows at a very reasonable price. We ultimately chose Capitol Improvements because they’re a family-owned business and have such great reviews. From measurement to final install, everyone was knowledgeable and friendly, particularly Ivan and Melinda. Windows were installed a little over 9 weeks after measurement (they were ready right on time, but due to no fault of Capitol Improvements we had to push install a little bit). We love how the windows turned out and finally feel like our home is complete. Most importantly, our cat loves the new windows as well. We will definitely be using Capitol Improvements in the future for a new front door and possible new roof. Thank you all!
