I picked Dan House to regularly service our new Generac, whole house generator, that was installed by a larger firm hired by the housing contractor. I didn't go with the installer because it became apparent after moving into the house that the installed generator would fail whenever our cars were plugged-in, which is whenever they are inside the garage. So ... an unworkable install seemed like a disqualifier for that other firm. Dan House, is smaller and family run and provided exactly what I was hoping to receive, which is a truly, highly qualified and smart electrician. Other firms had a smooth or smart owner / salesperson with a license who sends a random technician to do the job, ranging from competent to wrench monkey. Mark, the owner of Dan House, came to do the job in a timely manner and really knows things. My biggest concern is that I'd slow him down by asking too many questions, because you can learn so much from this guy's answers. When something goes wrong with the generator, I want someone with competence to diagnose the problem so it can be properly (and most quickly) fixed. I have confidence that Dan House Electric is the company that can do that for my family and home. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent company for your electrical needs. I've used them for as long as I can remember. I have an older home in Naples and seems there is always an electric issue. Thanks to Dan House Electric and especially Eric, an affordable fix is just a phone call away. Prompt and quality service at a fair price. Highly recommended.

I waited 2 weeks for an appointment. I was told 9-10am for my appointment. They showed up at 8:36am, according to my security cameras, then left. I was told 9am to 10am and that’s when I was ready for them. I called them around at noon when I discovered from the cameras they were here at 8:36am. The lady who answers the phone was mad at me and told me it was my fault I wasn’t home. She said they were there at 8:45am and that was close enough and painted me as the bad guy for blowing them off. When in fact it was 8:36am not 8:45am. But that’s irrelevant. I’m sorry but if you have an appointment at 9am, that does not mean you have an appointment at 8:36am nor 8:45am nor 8:55am. Dan House doesn’t seem to understand this. She said she could reschedule me for their next available…in 4 weeks. So I waited 2 weeks, I was here and ready for them at the 9-10am window they provided, then due to no fault of my own and because they decided to come early without telling me, I would have to wait another 4 weeks to get my electrical outlet fixed. This is not the way I do business. Be on time. When you give a customer a time, that is the time. If anything, be late and call to let them know you’ll be late. Don’t be early as the customer might not be ready. She also told me the guy who was here before the scheduled time at 8:36am went around asking my neighbors where I am. Unprofessional if you ask me. Thank you for making my neighbors think that I’m a flake, when it’s actually you guys who don’t know how to stick to a schedule.
