HUGE THANKS to Distinctive Surfaces for our vanity countertop install! We are OBSESSED with how the veins of the backsplash match up with the countertop! It was never discussed, but such perfect attention to detail and effort truly shows the workers care about doing a good job and doing it right! Special shout-out to Laura for working with our chaotic schedule and her remarkable patience with our "wait, can we go back to the other one???" When we were torn between two options, she knew exactly what to say to help us make the final decision. And it's PERFECT! Because of our smooth, easy, exceptional experience, we would definitely recommend Distinctive Surfaces!

I am not much of a review poster. But when things are either incredibly good or incredibly bad, I’m typically motivated to do so. I wanted to share a great experience my wife and I recently had with Distinctive Surfaces, Inc. (and its owner, Dan Razzano) relating to a large granite install for our kitchen. We contacted Distinctive Surfaces to obtain a competitive quote for our job that we had already priced elsewhere. From the initial call, I had a very pleasant experience with Laura, who I found to be very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable. She’s exactly the kind of person you want to employ to make that critical “first impression” on a prospective customer. We received the quote in a very timely manner (which was based upon final kitchen cabinet renderings we supplied them). And even though it was slightly more expensive than the initial quote (less than $1,000 more), I’m a big believer in the old adage “cost is what you pay, value is what you receive”. In spite of the marginally higher price tag, my interactions with Laura were so engaging and the promised quote sent to us when promised (the next day), that we opted to work with Distinctive Surfaces. What a great choice that was on our part! The templating was done the following week, and the job was scheduled for installation approximately 7-10 days later. As there almost always tends to be in construction, there was a slight delay in their stone supplier delivering the material to them; and, so, the initial installation date had to be pushed back slightly. But that in no way reflects poorly on Distinctive Surfaces, who just rely on a supplier to their job. So it’s not fair nor logical to blame Distinctive Surfaces for that. Regardless of that small hiccup, the material was delivered a few days later, and the installation was rescheduled in a very timely manner. The granite was installed yesterday by John (who I understand has been with the company forever). Just as Laura was,, John is very personable and an expert in his craft. The installation went flawlessly. And we could not be more pleased with the entire experience . So if you are in the market for countertops, do yourself a favor and hire these guys. You won’t regret it!

What an excellent find - Distinctive Surfaces Inc.!! Our new kitchen countertop is beautiful, we love it! Laura was wonderful to work with, from helping me pick out the stone piece, to laying out our design, and then working with me to pick out the best areas to cut my pieces of countertop. All the other employees I worked with were also super helpful and the installers were great. It's hard to find dedicated service like these folk nowadays.

After having a bad experience with another Counter Top Company trying to sell a below grade product, then trying to do a bait and switch to a more expensive product, we contacted Distinctive Surfaces. Laura was very accommodating with our counter top search and understanding the color combination we were looking for. She was able to match us up with a remnant that matched what we were looking for. Turn around time was great and no hassles. The crew came in and installed the counter in a 1/2 hour. We are very pleased with service and pricing of our counter. I would highly recommend using Distinctive Surfaces for your counter needs. Their Sales and Service are much better than the Big Box stores and their prices are more competitive.
