Al is a very competent electrician and a great guy. We found his services reasonably priced. He & his crew did fabulous job with our 200 Amps upgrade and two panel replacement along with several outlet and switch installation and fixes. He is punctual, completed work in time, and clean up after themselves. He even rewired our internet cable, which was not his job, to make things look good and tidy. He has problem-solving temperament and we highly recommend his services!

We had an excellent experience with this Houghtaling Electrical. An appliance company told us our brand-new stove needed a dedicated breaker, so they quickly came out and installed one for us. When the stove still wasn’t working correctly, the owner personally came back out to double-check everything and make sure the breaker installation was not the issue. It ultimately turned out to be a faulty appliance but throughout the entire process they were professional, responsive, honest, and extremely patient. I was especially impressed that they didn’t even invoice us until the problem was fully figured out. It’s rare to find businesses with this level of integrity and customer service. Because of this experience, they will definitely be our go-to electricians moving forward. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Service from Houghtaling Electrical! I recently had the experience of working with Houghtaling Electrical for a significant upgrade at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, they were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The owner, Al, took the time to really listen to my concerns and understand what I was hoping to achieve. He patiently explained the different possibilities and helped me choose the perfect solution for my needs and budget. His expertise was evident, and I felt confident in his recommendations. Marty & Dominic (the crew who came to install the new circuit panel) were equally impressive. They were polite, efficient, skilled, and clearly took pride in their work. What I especially appreciated was their willingness to explain everything they were doing. They showed me the new panel, walked me through the connections, and answered all my questions thoroughly. This level of communication was fantastic and made me feel informed and comfortable throughout the process. In addition to the excellent workmanship, the crew was also incredibly respectful of my home. They took great care to protect my belongings and, as importantly, thoroughly cleaned the work area when they finished. I will definitely be calling them again for any future electrical needs. Thank you for a job well done!

While driving a company vehicle the owner engaged in aggressive driving, screamed hateful comments, and had an overall volatile attitude in response to me refusing to turn left into oncoming traffic while ahead of him. The owner displays significant unprofessionalism due to his own bias and tardiness and I can't imagine wanting to represent your company's values in this way.
