The project manager who initially came out to bid the job was knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions, particularly around venting bathroom fans through the roof. I received several other bids that either felt inflated or didn’t adequately explain the work, so I appreciated his expertise and guidance. Once I moved forward with the project, however, communication became the biggest challenge. I often felt like I was project managing the project manager. Start dates were repeatedly promised and then pushed back, and I frequently had to reach out for status updates rather than receiving proactive communication. The work was scoped in April but was not completed until mid-June. Once the project was assigned to a foreman, I was told I would receive at least 24 hours’ notice before work began, but that did not happen. I again had to initiate communication to get updates. The foreman and crew themselves were personable, professional, and completed the work efficiently once they arrived. Overall, the quality of the finished work met my expectations, but the customer experience did not. My recommendation to Latham Roofing & Siding would be to focus on proactive communication, realistic scheduling, and stronger follow-through. Setting accurate expectations and delivering on them would significantly improve the customer experience.

Latham Roofing & Siding replaced polar wall plus siding on our entire house. They also installed more than a dozen new widows. They were easy to work with and exceptionally patient. The price appropriately reflected the amount and quality of the work. We are super pleased, and our neighbors seem so too. We also love the granite color. It remains warm and welcoming day and night.

They did an outstanding job on my house. Had the roof, siding, and windows all done by them and the house looks awesome! Had 5-6 other bids and they were significantly lower in price. Kane was awesome to work with. Never felt pressured to go with them. He was very attentive and any questions I had he got back to me real quick. Ledio and his crew were very thorough. They were very efficient and cleaned up like nothing happened. Great company! Will recommend to anyone looking for home improvements.

The company is very easy to work with. The installers did an excellent job replacing my roof and installing the new one. Arrived right on time and finished well before the end of the day. The clean up was amazing could not find anything left on the ground. Highly recommend this company.

I requested a quote from Latham Roofing and Siding for replacement of my hip roof, including shingles and some roof sheathing. My primary objective was to find a contractor with a strong reputation for quality materials and workmanship; cost was a secondary consideration. Latham Roofing and Siding responded to my inquiry very quickly, and an appointment was promptly scheduled. During the consultation, I met with Kane. Having personally replaced two roofs over the years and obtained quotes from three roofing companies for this project, I appreciated the thoroughness of the evaluation and the quality of the recommendations provided. Kane was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain several improvements in roofing materials and installation methods that have become standard since my previous roofing projects. Rather than simply preparing a quote, he evaluated the entire roofing system and recommended several practical improvements, including minor modifications to the attic ventilation and the installation of ice and water shield protection in areas beneath my solar panels. He clearly explained the reasoning behind these recommendations and how they could improve the long-term performance and durability of the roof. After obtaining quotes from three roofing companies, I found Latham Roofing and Siding's proposal to be competitive and well thought out, with pricing for the roof replacement portion of the project comparable to the other bids (within 10% of average). Although I ultimately selected another contractor, the decision was mainly based on additional fascia replacement and aluminum-wrapping work that was part of my project rather than any concerns about roofing replacement by Latham Roofing and Siding. Based on my experience during the evaluation and quoting process, I found Latham Roofing and Siding to be responsive, knowledgeable, and professional, and I would not hesitate to consider them for future roofing work. I give Latham Roofing and Siding a 4 star rating only because I could not evaluate their work.
