Outstanding service, value and customer service. They needed to reschedule my appointment due to an emergency on their end but we're wonderful in communicating the circumstances and bent over backwards to accommodate me. Chris and his partner were fantastic and could not thank them enough. Great job.

Talk about above & beyond, and then beyond that from this family owned business! They have several discounts including Verterans plus offer service plans. We needed a new plug outlet for air-conditioner (vertical ours was horizontal) plus a smaller circuit breaker (115amp from 240amp) Steve & Brian installed all, then carried our air-conditioner from car to upstairs landing, removed the old one, carried it outside. They noticed that the new one was much smaller (14,000btu) and didnt fit track, cut Unistrut to mount under appliance so it would fit the track. Once finished I inquired about storms and power surges since I have new kitchen appliances. He said they carry a whole house surge protector they could install. We had it done. I told them to add extra on my bill for all they did or I could give them cash. He said "It's part of the service, we want you happy" They call before arrival, show up in a timely manner. They gave us peace of mind a Win-win for us. I've used them 4x in the past and have always been completely satisfied. Also by trade, I've been a Secret Shopper for 35+ years. I'm very exact in the way I want things done & in today's world its extremely difficult to find a business that truly cares.

I had the pleasure of having Steve from Mel Carr Electric do a full home diagnostic testing and was very pleased with his knowledge, professionalism and friendly mannerism. Steve pointed out spots in my older type home that I wasn't aware of which were very informative. Much thanks to Steve and Mel Carr Electric!

I contacted Mel Carr Electric after doing a google search. I have an old home and was having an issue with old wiring and ceiling fixtures. I am always wary of inviting strangers into my house, so getting a text ahead of the appointment with the name, photo and short bio of the technician coming to my house was a very pleasant surprise. Ethan Brown was the technician who came to my house and he was very polite, professional, friendly, and courteous. He explained exactly what he was going to do and kept me apprised during the entire appointment. He provided clear information regarding what needed to be done, including cost, and reduced the cost when he was able to finish the job sooner than expected. He walked me through everything he did, and made suggestions for further improvements to consider down the road. I was very impressed and happy with the entire experience. If you are a woman (or anyone, for that matter) who needs to have work done on your home and are nervous about finding a safe, reliable, courteous and conscientious company to work with, I’d highly recommend Mel Carr Electric.

Steve was very helpful and understanding. He notified when he would arrive at our house and was very timely. He explained our situation and gave us options. He did the work right then and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend!
