Wonderful company from start to finish. The rep that made the initial call was outstanding and clearly wanted to understand our needs rather than just try to get us to sign a proposal. His understanding of our needs was very impressive. The service technicians even came out before installation to go over my concerns. The installers were wonderful, very smart in all aspects of the job and a pleasure to have in our house. This was not an easy job based on having a 100 year old house, but they clearly understood the job at hand and completed the project in just two days. I started with proposals from 4 different companies. Mohawk's proposal was very reasonable and included top of the line Lennox equipment. The air and heat is already working and resolving some of the problems I had with my older equipment. I am already sharing our experience with friends who know they will be facing the same need for new equipment over the next year or two. I clearly made the right decision choosing Mohawk.

So disappointed at the lack of attention to detail. I had an issue with my hot water heater and was told it was condensation. Now I sit waiting for competent people to come and take care of the soot that is all over the place. Never bothered to check for a venting issue even though a quick Google check would have given them the answers. I TOLD him that the last time it happened it was a hot water heater issue and an exhaust fan issue. He completely ignored me and told me it was condensation because of the summer weather. Really? Then why doesn’t it happen EVERY summer? This could have turned into a dangerous situation and is not the first time these people have completely dropped the ball on service. This past winter I called because I had an exhaust smell in the basement. The man told me if my carbon monoxide detector wasn’t going off it could wait until the next day. Again, never checked venting and just put tape over rusty spots on the ductwork.Would not use for repairs ever again. Their lack of knowledge or lack of willingness to find answers is appalling. It is now costing me over $7000 to fix their mistake. They are either grossly incompetent or just plain negligent in their diagnosis.

Woke up yesterday no heat in the house. Called Mohawk (have used them before). They were there within two hours. Ryan diagnosed the problem as “inducer motor “ needs replacing. Part had to ordered which was hard to believe. Ryan claimed he was there an hour which was not true. Charged me $214 for the service. Next day a different tech came (his brother). Put the part in quickly and still no heat. 1 1/2 hrs later found out that my exhaust pipe was partially blocked and heat worked. I was then asked for another $200 plus dollars. Did I really need the motor?? Tech was not sure. Long story short, I paid half and will never use Mohawk again. I messaged my neighborhood my experience I doubt they will use Mohawk either.
